WARM WATER POOL IN DENMARK
Located in the municipality of Varde, Denmark, Lunden Residential and Rehabilitation Center offers treatment for individuals who have suffered brain injuries due to illness or accidents.
Lunden provides 24-hour rehabilitation, and residential care, as well as outpatient and mobile training and assessment programs, all tailored to the wishes of the individual citizen.
The center’s warm water therapy pool plays a vital role in the rehabilitation process, providing therapeutic benefits for residents as they work toward recovery. This makes the water quality of the pool a critical priority for the well-being of the residents.
WHAT THE CLIENT NEEDED
A SAFE WATER ENVIRONMENT
To improve the experience of the residents and ensure a long-term safe bathing environment, the center decided it was time to modernize the water treatment system, focusing on sustainability, automation, and improved water quality.
This included upgrading the existing water treatment system to ensure a safe water environment for the bathers.
THE SOLUTION
UV TECHNOLOGY FOR OPTIMIZED WATER QUALITY
To upgrade the existing setup, UV technology was chosen to be included in the water treatment process. This led to the installation of a MULTIRAY MP1-2000SS system optimized for swimming pools. This implementation was well aligned with creating a setup using automated technology that ensures optimal water quality management and maintenance.
The general focus point was to upgrade the facility with efficiency and sustainability in mind, including UV technology, more efficient and safe chemical management, and a new balance tank.
Implementing these upgrades means that the Center is now equipped with a modern water treatment system and a pool that meets both their sustainability goals and not least ensuring a healthy environment for the residents.
