INTRODUCTION

ULTRABARRIER™ PP INTAKE WATER DISINFECTION SYSTEMS

The ACN ULTRABARRIER™ Non-Corrosive PP series is designed specifically for intake water disinfection for rearing and sustaining warm saline water species in the aquaculture industry, to recreate the natural environment of the selected species. The series ensures that no harmful microorganisms enter the production to potentially compromise the livelihood and quality of the species.

The PP material makes the ULTRABARRIER™ series capable of withstanding even the most saline water environments. The CFD optimized reactor chambers provide an even UV dose distribution with minimum head loss, combined with a double UV intensity monitoring system to ensure operational efficiency against pathogens such as IPNV, CSV and Costia Necatrix.

The ACN ULTRABARRIER™ series has been approved by the Norwegian Veterinary Institute (NVI) for intake water disinfection in the Norwegian aquaculture industry.
