The government of Thailand has progressive policies in place to help the country attain the position of becoming a hub for wellness and medical services. An ambitious and strategic ten-year plan will turn Thailand into a medical hub in four major areas: wellness, medical services, academics, and products.
As a part of this strategy, the Bangkok Hospital Group and the Vimut Hospital has chosen to upgrade their processes to utilize UV technology for their wastewater.
As a part of the ambitious progression of the healthcare industry of Thailand, choosing UV as the disinfection method was a perfect fit, utilizing innovative and chemical-free technology.
This resulted in installations to treat hospital wastewater in three different locations. Relating to the Bangkok Hospital Group, installations were made in the Brain and Bone Clinic building in the Bangkok province, and in the Bangkok hospital Chiangrai province. The last installation was made in the Vimut hospital, also placed in Bangkok. All hospitals were looking for a solution with flexible installation conditions, while being price competitive and having low maintenance costs.
“In the Thai market, high-rise buildings for various uses have been challenged by stringent environmental regulation and limited space. When UV systems are well recognized as a compact, effective disinfection technology to overcome such challenges, ULTRAAQUA helps us beat world-class competitors by its robust design, high energy efficiency and unmatched lower running cost.”
