To accommodate such a large-scale facility for such an ambitious and innovative company, huge requirements were set for the applied technologies. To live up to these high demands, the absolute best methods for bacteria control were a necessity. Ensuring high-quality water for continuous reuse in the closed recirculation systems was a must to ensure the best possible conditions for the shrimp.

UV SYSTEMS FOR FULL WATER TREATMENT CONTROL
The operation of such a large-scale shrimp farm comes with a lot of challenges and risks. One of the main threats is bacteria outbreaks, as there is a long list of potential shrimp diseases. Viet-Uc puts great emphasis on managing this factor, as the risk relates directly to the shrimp yield and ultimately revenue of the entire operation.
By utilizing Polypropylene UV systems from ULTRAAQUA, Viet-Uc is able to successfully remain in full control of the water treatment conditions. This included installing UV systems to handle both the disinfection of the hatchery, as well as the grow-out intake water.
