INTRODUCTION

ULTRALOW UV TRANSMISSION ULU UV SYSTEMS

ULTRAAQUA UV ULU series is designed for fluids with extremely low UV transmission (UVT) from >2%. ULU series is engineered specifically for UV disinfection of fluids like liquid sugar, wine, salt brines, and many more. The standard UV systems available in the market cannot eliminate pathogenic microorganisms found in these fluids due to the low transmission of UV light.

As a result, ULTRAAQUA UV engineered and hydraulically optimized the reactors with a small space between the reactor walls and the quartz sleeve. With significantly reduced space – the fluid flows in the thin film form, exposing it evenly to the UV light, which results in an even dose distribution. The ULU UV series ingenuity is its modular design, which makes it possible to connect as many ULU UV reactors as required – either 2 or 20 – to deliver high-purity water mandatory in food & beverage and pharmaceutical industries.

Furthermore, the ULU series can be equipped with either LPHO ULTRATHERM™ UV lamps for standard disinfection, or 185nm Vacuum UV lamps for photolysis, used for TOC reduction and other micropollutants. With its operational and design features, ULU series is the best available disinfection solution for low transmission fluids available in today’s market.
