Since the very beginning, the Caudete Municipal Indoor Pool has been aiming to use new technology to improve the overall conditions of their pools. This has been done with 2 important perspectives in mind, ensuring a focus on protecting the environment, while protecting the health and security of their customers using the pool. To achieve both of these essential goals, implementing UV technology was a perfect solution.
An important step towards complying with the ambitions of being strongly focused on sustainability and their customers’ health, was to upgrade the environment for their customers. To do this, the Caudete City Council chose to invest in UV systems, to improve the overall quality of the facility. This was done with the ambitions of improving the quality of the water while reducing water consumption, ultimately leading to a reduced carbon footprint of the facility.
“Since the installation, we have seen a radical change in the quality of the water, while reducing the by-products derived from chlorine. The improvements have not only allowed us to offer a better service to our clients, but also reduce the water consumption and carbon footprint of the facility.”
Jose Bernabé Ortuño, Head of Sports in the council of Caudete (Albacete)
