INTRODUCTION

LUVT LOW UVT UV SYSTEMS

The LUVT closed vessel series is designed for low UVT water environments, making them ideal for industrial and municipal secondary and reuse applications.

The series is equipped with LUVTSWIRL™ technology – a unique feature designed to prolong UV exposure time for pathogens passing through the vessel which also leads to additional energy savings. It eliminates any chance of ¨dark areas¨ and inactivates microorganisms passing through the reactor – without the need of adding more lamps. For most types of wastewater disinfection where the closed vessel units are required, the LUVT series excels in energy efficiency, cost savings, and the lowest possible maintenance time.

This makes LUVT the first UV system which offers exceptional disinfection and energy efficiency for low UVT environments, commonly found in high turbidity and coloured water in the wastewater treatment process.
