Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled CAD Specialist to contribute to our engineering team. The CAD Specialist will play a pivotal role in the design and development in our project department, ensuring precision and accuracy in all stages of the design process. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to create detailed drawings and models that meet our technical specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) to create 2D and 3D models of UV water treatment systems, components, and assemblies.
- Generate accurate technical drawings, schematics, and layouts for manufacturing and construction purposes.
- Collaborate with engineers to review design requirements, specifications, and project timelines.
- Conduct design reviews to identify potential issues, optimize designs, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Support the manufacturing team by preparing detailed manufacturing drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and assembly instructions.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of CAD standards, templates, and libraries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a CAD Specialist or similar role, preferably in the field of mechanical or industrial design.
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise drawings.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with water treatment systems or related industries is a plus.
