Responsibilities and qualifications

For our expanding ozone systems team and due to an important new product release, we are looking for a commercially oriented and technically strong sales engineer.

We believe your background could be a bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemistry, environmental technology, or biotechnology.

Our ozonation systems are used in both disinfection and advanced oxidation processes in industrial as well as municipal water treatment systems.

Your primary responsibility will be sales activities including sizing and solution configuration. Cooperation with the customer and implementation engineers will be essential. You will primarily be working together with colleagues in the group. However, collaboration with R&D is also of high importance to constantly develop product design and process optimization. The cooperation with R&D will go both ways as many customer projects involve input from R&D or pilot testing. In the coming years, we have funded research projects involving ozonation so that you will be involved in those as well.

We expect strong growth in the ozone activities so you will also be involved in further building up the ozone group.

As an Ultraaqua sales engineer, you will be working closely together with:

  • Customers
  • R&D and CAD groups
  • Sales and marketing group
  • Production

Sales experience is an advantage and negotiation skills are crucial. Likewise, experience in the field of ozonation or similar will be beneficial, but it’s not a requirement. We prioritize talent, motivation, and personal characteristics. You will be given the required time to build up knowledge.

In addition to being a very good colleague, you must be structured, technically interested, and quality-conscious. You must also find it attractive to work with people representing a variety of nationalities, cultures, and backgrounds. There will be some traveling to end customers’ sites and representatives.

Language: English is a prerequisite.
